Set out on a week-long mountain biking journey across Halmstad's varied landscapes. Each day involves cycling between 30 to 40 kilometers, traversing backcountry trails that offer both challenge and scenic beauty.

As this is a backcountry tour, participants are expected to carry their own food and drinks during the rides. This self-sufficient approach enhances the adventure, allowing for spontaneous stops and personal exploration.

The tour is designed for cyclists with a good fitness level, ready to tackle daily distances and varied terrains. While the journey is demanding, the rewards include breathtaking views, serene natural settings, and a profound sense of accomplishment.

Day 1 – Arrival and Cycling Start in Hovshallar

Pickup at Båstad train station (direct connection from Copenhagen Airport)

Day 2 – Båstad to Brammarp (27 km)
Cycling through the lush northern slopes of Hallandsåsen
Discover Båstad, local crafts, grazing lands, Bronze Age hills, and 19th-century landscape changes

Day 3 – Brammarp to Ekegården via Koar (30 km)
Cycling through Musikedalen and protected forest nature
Possibility to spot moose and rare insects
Descent along the Hallandsåsen ridge

Day 4 – Ekegården to Knäred (37 km)
